According to the American Medical Association, addiction is a chronic, relapsing brain disease characterized by compulsive alcohol/drug seeking and use despite often devastating consequences. It is important to remember that no sane person would choose to be stricken with this terrible disease, just as no person would choose to develop any other chronic disease, such as diabetes.

Serenity Path was created to help those struggling with addiction in central Minnesota find a new way of life. A sober life that can be happy, healthy, and personally fulfilling. In other words, we help those who are looking find the Path to Serenity.

Serenity Path is a local non-profit organization offering outpatient chemical dependency treatment services to those suffering from addiction.

Serenity Path hosts an Open AA speaker meeting every Friday night from 7 - 8 PM. This meeting is open to anyone interested in the disease of Addiction and the lifestyle of Recovery.
